Local Natives

I've been slightly in love with Local Natives lately; all of their songs are pretty amazing and they are just so god damn cool.  Their catchy songs with great lyrics have been getting me through the start of this painful week of studying (or attempting to study) for finals. 

Obsessions

Luis Morais's Skulls

Luis Morais, a Miami based designer from Brazil, combines dark and light aspects, pairing skulls with diamonds and brightly colored beads, becoming unique and elegant.  I am a big sucker for skulls so definitely would love to rock one of his skull rings!!

An Outdoor Hideaway

The Allandale House is the work of William O'Brian Jr., an assistant professor of architecture at MIT School of Architecture and Planning and is principle of an independent design practice in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  It is a modern spin off of a typical forest cabin, based on an extruded A-frame.
