The Sophie Lancaster Foundation

I recently discovered this charity and for some reason it has really spoken to me.

The aims and objectives of the Charity are as follows:

• To create a lasting legacy to Sophie.
• To provide educational group-works that will challenge the prejudice and intolerance towards people from alternative subcultures.
• To campaign to have the UK Hate Crime legislation extended to include people from “alternative subcultures” or “Lifestyle and Dress”

To bully, mock, laugh at or pick on someone because they are different is not right. Sophie was killed for being "different". People need to understand that everyone is different and special in their own right. What happened to Sophie is despicable and I hope that we all learn a very important lesson out of her tragic death.

I hope everyone has an amazing 2011. Found this pic randomly. It was from the japan vogue i did with David Mushegain a while back. Ellie Goulding wore this outfit to the UK premiere of Burlesque and everyone has talked about the tux from D&G and the tights by Henry Holland but no one has said about the shoes and I love them! Please help me find out where they are from and I will love you forever!
